Denver Ford dealer looking forward to arrival of the C-MAX Energi

Groove Ford, one of the top Denver Ford Dealers, has always been proud to say that we have some of the most fuel efficient vehicles on the road. However, we are extatic to hear that we may be receiving Ford's new C-MAX Energi late this year.
Ford's very first plug-in hybrid-the 2013 C-MAX Energi-has now helped the automaker win its second consecutive Green Car Vision Award. The honor is given each year by the Green Car Journal and goes to the top green vehicle that is about to break into the big leagues. (Last year's winner was the 2012 Ford Focus Electric.) WE may not have the Focus Electrci in stock, but we have do have the 2012 Ford Fusion Hybrid, which also gets astonishing gas mileage.
According to Green Car Journal, the C-MAX Energi's "ability to run solely on electric power, hybrid gasoline-electric power, or on gasoline internal-combustion power optimizes the driving experience while ensuring the kind of environmental performance that's crucial to our driving future."
In terms we can understand, that means Ford's new multipurpose vehicle will allow drivers to:
This kind of performance comes courtesy of Ford's next-gen hybrid powertrain technologies, including a new high-efficiency Atkinson cycle I4 engine, advanced lithium-ion batteries and the automaker's innovative PowerSplit technology, which helps the C-MAX Energi's electric motor and gasoline-powered engine to work in together for optimum efficiency. And at the same time, the vehicle's nimble proportions and highly versatile interior make it ideal for owners on the go. The C-MAX Energi has five-passenger seating and boasts 43.4 cubic feet of storage space when its split second row is folded flat.
The award-winning Ford C-MAX Energi-and its sibling, the C-MAX Hybrid-are slated to reach Ford dealerships in the second half of this year.
